We bring our almost 20 years of portrait photography experience and creativity to every senior photo session we do. We love to use beautiful, warm natural lighting and the Maine landscapes to create stunning senior photos. Every session we do is tailored to the senior and what they love, the location they are drawn to, if they have any special wardrobe or props they want to use or bring and to try and bring out their personality in the photos. The sessions are so fun and with two of us photographing you get a variety of unique angles and direction that one photographer does not offer.   • Coastal areas and beaches – perfect if you want a beach vibe and water in the background

  • Downtown/urban areas – if you’re looking for unique textures and a more urban vibe

  • Coffee shops, libraries, book stores, record stores – if that suits your personlity/things you love!

  • Open fields – a perfect spot for golden hour!

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • You are welcome to pick the location or make suggestions if there is a spot that is meaningful to you that you’d like to go to! If not and just have a general idea of what you’d like (beach, woods, urban, etc) we have lots of great ideas and suggestions we can make!

  • You can definitely bring props if you’d like, we have had seniors bring sports-related props and have also had seniors who have wanted to use their cars or incorporate other meaningful items into their shoot.

    As far as outfits we can usually fit about 3 into the session if we are in one location! We can give guidance on styling once your session is booked.

  • We generally like to do all photo sessions at golden hour to take advantage of the most beautiful light, so an hour or so before the sun sets. This will depend on some variables too, though like the location. Our photo work is very much dependent on lighting so it is important to try to choose a time when the light is best for the most beautiful light if possible! Sometimes the weather in Maine isn’t exactly cooperative and we have to work with overcast days, but that lighting can be beautiful too!

  • We will typically try to schedule a rain day for every client just in case. We do stay in contact a few days before and can work around the weather if need be and maybe move the time around if possible to work around the rain. Overcast days can also be beautiful!
